I have a German Shepherd dog that always towards the summer time gets bothered by those nasty flies. She would always have her ears covered with them and bloody from them biting at her ears. Since I bought defy the fly 2yrs ago she doesn't have anymore problems. I used other products like sprays or creams but they just didn't do the job. Beware of other fly collars that aren't "defy the fly" they just don't work. Is this testimonial helpful?

These collars sounded too good to be true. We live in north central Florida and our two dogs live outdoors with our horses. Every year their ears would get chewed up from the flies and would be caked with blood at the end of each day. Nothing worked to prevent this, not even chemical fly ointments. I've been using these collars for several months now with excellent results and highly recommend them. No more scabby ears! Is this testimonial helpful?

We also have several Great Pyrenees dogs that guard our goats and miniature donkeys. The flies were so bad they had bloody noses. This breed appears to be more at risk than others. Our vet had suggested a topical chemical insect repellant that was not to be ingested by the dogs. Due to our preference for natural remedies and the fact that the dogs lick their noses and play we decided against this. We began our search for a natural remedy. We began using a natural Shoo-Fly spray which helped some, however the fly control increased when we began using the collars in addition to this. These collars have been a blessing, they work great and have no chemicals! The flies are minimal to none and their noses are healing. Thanks for a wonderful product. I live in Florida and I have livestock guardian dogs (Great Pyrs) that live outside. The flies really bother them and cause sores on their noses. This is the only product that I have found that repels the flies and gnats and keeps the dogs comfortable. Is this testimonial helpful?

I use these on my dogs when we visit my parents' farm in Florida during the summer. My dogs don't have a fly or a gnat anywhere near them! We even hang one by the doors to keep flies out of the house and pool area! One of the best natural fly repellents I have ever used! If you don't like chemicals...this is the collar for you!
