This product does exactly what it is intented to do. The doggies start to bark and are startled into stopping by an uncomfortable sound that only they can hear. It worked the first time and is still working great so I'm buying more of them to put them all over the house. I highly recommend this product. Is this testimonial helpful?

This worked for about 4 days. Then my very vocal male discovered that if he waited between barks no noise came from that thing. My husband works nights and as you can imagine, just as we thought it was safe for him to sleep the barking started again. :( Otherwise this would have been the best thing on the market. This bark control works. My giant schnauzer was a relentless communicator. I want this...do that...feed me...pet me...bark, bark, bark and loud too! I put a battery in. He barked twice and shut up. He continues to be quiet. He used to bark demandingly at the back door while I was preparing his dinner..now he sits quietly. Unfortunately it doesn't work very well on the somewhat deaf miniature schnauzer who remains noisy. So I do not leave the controller on constantly to be fair to the big dog. I turn it on intermittently as reminders to the big dog and this seems to work fine. I also did not want him to totally stop barking as he is my watchdog. I will warn that a very smart dog use to frequently communicating may become temporarily morose and a little depressed. This phase disappeared quickly in my dog as he adjusted to life without constant barking. His behavior shortly returned to normal just a whole lot quieter! Is this testimonial helpful?
