Command Ester-C is a patented, mineralized form of vitamin C. In comparison to ascorbic acid, Ester-C is four times more absorbable and has a neutral pH, which means it will not upset your horse’s stomach or cause ulcers. Vitamin C is important for joint and connective tissue health and is a key anti-oxidant. Useful for stress related conditions, degenerative joint disease, allergies, COPD, heaves, stable cough and respiratory infections. 5,000 mg per serving. Feed 5 grams (about 1/5 ounce) twice daily with feed. Scoop enclosed. Powder.

  This product has helped my horse's wheezing and heaving. Impressed. But wish the container was taller and slimmer so it can be held easier in a woman's normal sized hand.

  I have been purchasing this product for over a year for my twenty plus gelding with allergies and mild heaves. This product is wonderful he is comfortable during all seasons, and the only other product he is on is a probiotic. I would recommend this product and Valley Vet is wonderful to work with.

  I bought this for my pony who suffers from allergies and has some breathing difficulties. I was hoping this would help but she has been on it about a month and I'm not seeing any improvement. I'll keep giving it to her and hope that it will eventually.

  With no available vaccine for a potentially contagious outbreak at the barn where I board, I bought Ester-C to help boost my mare's immune system and was told by a friend that this is the more absorbable form of Vit.C. Will it work? Only time will tell. For now, though shipping was quick and it is palatable enough that she doesn't leave any in her grain bucket so I know she is at least taking it in!! :-D

  Have an older horse (over 30) who has breathing problems. This product seems to help when nothing else has. On this product he will stay out in field rather than stay in his stall.
