Bungie Trailer Tie

I bought this for my horse trailer but it's way too short. May want to find a longer one if ur looking to use it for a 2 horse straight load trailer.

Only input is: I have found I have to take it out of the trailer when not trasporting because my trailer sits in the sun, and the sun rots the bungie quickly. They last a lot longer that way.

The panic snap fits perfectly in the tie down rings on my WW Stock trailer. I am able to pull the quick release on the panic snap in every angle that I've tried. I purchased the 42" bungee strap which gives the horses plenty of movement with the divider pulled shut. The strap is long enough that they aren't tied too short.

I am not sure if we have always connected it wrong, but we have always placed the panic snap on the horses halter and the bull snap has always been connected to trailer. I hope this might help for those of you having problems. May not be the way you have done it but it works for us. Also we hook the lead rope to the halter and throw it over the horses back before we release trailer tie.

The safety snap is too small. The bungee cord is too short. These won't work in my horse trailer as designed.

Bungie trailer tie is actually working quite well in my barn. Skittish Paso Fino likes the little bit of give it has. I may use it with my 4-month-old colt as well.

bought this and i should have read the reviews closer the panic snap is like for a small dog or something.. its very small and cheap... it won't even go around the tie ring in my trailer... someone reviewed that you could file it out and make it work well if you filed this little snap out there would not be anything left of it.... i would save your money and by something else.... and then to return it you have to pay the shipping!!! i think valley vet has always had great products but this one should be droped from there inventory its making me second guess everything i buy from valleyvet now....

The bungie cord & bull snap appear to be reasonable items, but the panic snap is a loser and a deal-breaker. I wish I'd read the reviews before I purchased this item. The panic snap is not only unreasonably small (much smaller than any equivalent item I've seen at several stables), but the snap is flawed: it cannot be opened if body of the snap is swiveled 90 degrees, making it unacceptably unreliable as well as too small for many situations. Rather than pay $9 to ship it back, I cut it off and spent $8 buying replacement hardware. Valleyvet: dump this product and replace it with something worthy of your sales.

I bought these trailer ties for our trip to SD, we are l;eaving today, so I am sure they will be useful. I've had this brand before and they have worked great.

The item description did not include the size of the clamp.  Turns out it was too small to fit around the hook inside my trailer that I tie my horse too.  I would have thought that these were standard sizes.  I was very disappointed.  I sent the package back today and to ad insult to injury it cost almost $9 to return it.  I think Valley Vet should pay the return shipping.
