Worked great with a knotRated 5 out of 5 stars
by theo farmer
I was dreading trimming a horn that had grown into the head on one of our dairy cows. Bought this OB wire and, once I realized I needed to knot the cable to make it stay in the handles, it was a 10 second cut and the job was done. It burns through the horn (smoking, which must have a cauterizing effect if there is a blood supply). The horn had little blood supply and no nerves, so the cow had no problem with what we were doing, just uncomfortable from the head restraint.
