Simple to put on and remove, stays securely on the hoof. Durable construction: rust proof metal, waterproof thread, and high performance TPU outsole. Absorbs shock and concussion in all terrain. Has built-in drainage and fits left or right hoof. Built-in sole relief takes pressure off sole, bars and frog. Has a molded-in back flap for maximum bulb protection. Very lightweight.       I have tried them all. These are the best. I now have sets for all my horses. The only warning is that you have to put them on carefully over the heels or they will cause some sheering of the hoof wall at the heel. It is hard if the boot is too small. So I have different sizes to assure that the horses have the right size as they grow between trims. It costs more upfront, but they wear all the same and is the same cost in the long run. Just a suggestion.

      I wanted to move my 16h QH from being shod all around to going barefoot, especially for the winter. I solicited the assistance of a good barefoot farrier, and purchased a pair of Cavallo Trek boots. They are wonderful!!! Not clunky at all, and engineered for success. I am riding in mud, through stony creeks and up and down fairly steep hills, and my horse is doing wonderfully. I love these boots and will never be without a pair.

      I bought one about 2 weeks ago and have had it on my TB full time, except for rides on the beach. We are trying to grow enough hoof wall to put a shoe back on, and even in a sandy pasture his wall breaks up. This boot is keeping the hoof whole. My only complaint is that it is wearing pretty quickly. I'm not sure how it would stand up to moderate trail riding. It is easy to put on and take off and easy to adjust. Good engineering, as long as it lasts for awhile.

      Unfortunately, I had to return them because they did not fit my horse. She has a narrow hoof so I exchanged them for the sport boot and they fit perfectly. If you have a gaited horse with a narrow hoof, try the sport boot instead.

      I have purchased the Cavello boots for years. The Simple boots were the only style to work for the Walker due to size and fit. Happy to have another choice of boot in different shapes and sizes!

      Still does not fit though measured with cavello measuring device. Turns on her foot and I have had it come off completely. Guess I'm stuck with the pair I bought as she has walked in them.

      Not exactly my first pair of boots in the last 15+ years. Had to go one sized down from their measuring chart. Although not extensively field tested through trails and mud, they are working fine on the road. Easier to put on than similar brands I have tried. Comes with extra Velcro closures.

      I've tried ALL the hoof boots available over the past 15 years & these are - by far - the best! They stay on no matter the gait, they are the quietest, they are easy to put on, have the best fit, and they are durable! I cannot say enough about these boots for a barefoot horse transitioning or for those needing coverage on tough terrain.

      I bought these to replace Easy Boots that came off too easily. The closure system is superior on the Cavallos, and they are easy to put on and take off. Four hooves up!

      These are much easier to get in than the gloves I tried last summer and fit great on a wide-hoofed TB. My horse seems very comfortable with them and didn't bat an eye at working with them on.

      I have a barefoot Haflinger with pretty round hooves. The standard Trek is a perfect fit. I also have trouble with my knees so I like the fact that these boots fasten at the top instead of the side or back. So easy to put on and adjust. They hold up really well, too. We ride on rocky trails and these have been perfect. Soles and drainage are great. And a great price, too!

      I've used hoof boots on my horse for about 8 years. Originally I started because her thin walled hooves wouldn't hold shoe nails. She's a big mare about 1500 lbs. and had smallest hooves. I had tried almost every other boot made with materials failure. Cavallo have always been structurally sound and stayed on over our steep and very rocky trails, creeks & mud. Interestingly, the mud sticks less on the outside of the Trek then the regular Easyboot. One front hoof is a little smaller than the other so selecting treks as singles has been the answer. Also, her hooves have increased 2 sizes during these shoeless years. I always use the pastern wraps to keep small rocks from flipping inside the boot.

      I really liked the boot. I tried and tried to get a fit, but to no avail. Too small, too big, and too big again. I was so disappointed that I could not fit these boots on any of our horses. We have 3 horses. The first pair was a size 2 in the Sport, they were too small. I wanted the Trek, so I returned the Spot for the Trek, and did so with different sizes and I just couldn't get a size to fit. The only size I did not get in the Trek was a 2, I tried the 3 and 4 Way too big.. I felt that the sizes would be the same in both styles. I was not going to try a 4th time. I must say thank you to your company on the return policy. I was refunded with no hassle. I am sure to do business with your company.

      We've use several different styles of the simple boots and these are by far the best for ease of installation, and comfort to the horses. I use them on four of my horses and so far there has been no rubbing on any of them ( even the ones with white ankles) My only complaint is wondering about how long they will last, we use ours avg of 3 times a week for 2 hour long rides . Some are showing a good bit of wear already so hopefully I will be able to get a year out of them. Kind of pricey if they don't last a full year

      These are super easy and quick to put on. I went with this style because there didn't appear a need for a break in period. My horse wears them during turnout right now while transitioning to barefoot. I did have to put duct tape over the velcro for 3 or 4 days because my curious horse tried to open the velcro closures... but I guess the curiosity wore off and she doesn't bother the velcro any longer.

      I have tried the Old Macs, the Renegades, and Cavallo Simple, and this is the best boot yet!! I ride pleasure/trails, and go thru mud, water, up mountains, along dirt roads. and this boot accommodates all terrain and never fails. Lighter than the Simple on top and as durable on the bottom, the thin edge around the inside of the sole makes a huge difference for us barefoot riders. It really does get the horse's foot up off the sole of the boot and provides comfort. Also who would have thought a little loop at the back of the boot would make it so easy to take off!?! Quickly on, and quickly off, this boot is the one I prefer to use every time now.

      I wasn't able to take a (long) ride for about 3 weeks after receiving the boots. I was so excited to finally try them. My gelding has an over reach and would pull other boots off. First I put them on and let him roam around in the arena, they did not come off! So I was fairly sure they would do good on a ride. I would not have attempted this ride without boots due to the very sharp rocks and there were a lot of them. The Cavallo TREK did an AMAZING job! And so incredibly easy to put on and take off! Thank you for your boots!
