      This product works great at shows since its so portable. I can fit it in my tack box easily. However, if you dont have livestock paneling, it's pretty difficult to keep still. Good investment for shows, but for daily use just get a regular fitting stand. It's a better investment.

      I was really excited to receive the EZ Goat Holder. I unpacked it and took it out to the barn. I had several goats that needed to have their hooves trimmed. I was unable to use it because it does not fit on any fencing other than the wire goat fence. My husband tried several different fences and gates and it does not open wider enough to accommodate anything other than the fence pictured in the ad. It was very well made but unusable for our goats.

      These heads are great for shows where stands are not allowed, large lambs, and lambs that just won't stand still on stands.

      I bought this a few weeks ago bc I wanted to do my own blood draws and I don't have help to hold my goats and sheep still. This worked amazingly well for me. I set it up on the fence i side my barn and did 3 of my girls in less than an hour. Got the blood on one poke for each. This tool held their heads fairly still. They baulked at it at first but I waited till they each settled down and it was smooth sailing after that. This tool has already paid for itself on my first day of use. My vet would have charged me $20 per head just for the blood draw and that after I had transported them to vet's office. I am very pleased and plan on using it for hoof trimming and goat utter shaving. I find it easier than using the milking stand. My only wish is that a latch would be on the end of the restraining chain to keep the chain in place

      I have used this for over a year on my goats. I have treated, tattooed, trimmed hooves and dehorned in it. Makes working with goats by yourself so much easier!

      My pygmy kids wriggled out of it. Maybe they are too small, so I'm still having to trim their hoofs on my lap. I'll try it again next month. Its sturdy and very easy to set up on the fence. Hoping to be able to eventually use it, if not I'll give it to friends who have herd of much bigger goats.

      Upfront I'll say we don't have goats. I bought this to use as a portable trimming stand for sheep. Customer service was unsure if the Sydell head pieces were comparable and referred me to the manufacturer. The owner contacted me within the hour and was very helpful. You can use anything that uses a 1" pipe. The Sydell pieces fit great and the stand is easy to work with. Nice welds and great quality! We didn't use the headpiece that came with it until I turned it upside down and stuck a tennis ball on the pipe end. A few magnets and it's a great mobil trim stand for horses. No tipping it over and knocking tools off anymore! We also welded an old seat to some pipe and made a field chair. I'll probably be ordering another this fall so I can get my "trimming" stand back from DH!

      I need a way to trim hooves of a doe who won't get on my regular stand. I thought this product would be the answer, but it does not help at all because the goat gets loose from the product. I'm very disappointed.

      We've had this for a couple of months now and it is truly remarkable ! I wouldn't be without one now...really makes trimming hoofs, vaccinating, medicating, so much better !

      This is great for fairs.  No need to lug a big stand in.  Need longer bolts for wooden fences.
