Extra large top opening makes filling easy. A hook and loop flap folds over to prevent hay from being pulled out from the top. Hay must be pulled from the webbed squares in front in small amounts, which lessens waste and makes the horse eat slower. Long adjustable strap with snaps makes it easy to hang almost anywhere. The front and back of the bag is made of tough poly for durability. Mesh bottom allows dust and dirt to fall through. 24” x 10.5” x 20”.

      Bought one of these two months ago, loved it so much, bought another. Have only used a few months so don't know how hardy they will stay after time. For now though, they work great - easy to fill, hay is accessible to horses, but they do have to work a bit to get it (that's a good thing) and the quality and workmanship is very good. They are a bit pricey, but will be worth it if they maintain - it seems they will.

      My old bag finally wore out after years of good service to a aggressive eating T.B so I recently purchased a new one from Valley Vet. LOVE these for grass/alfalfa mix as the alfalfa just doesn't come through the tighter hole type bags and the horses get too frustrated. This does slow the horse down with out driving them nuts. I think these new ones are a bit bigger than the original ones as I can get the hay in them so much easier. I'm happy and my horse is happy!

      Great bag. Easy to load up with hay and hang in a stall. My horse used a bag like this after he had surgery. ( He couldn't eat off of the ground) and I then bought him a bag to use at home. I like the big square bag.

      The bag material has been quite sturdy, but the Velcro gets crusted with dust and hay, and then won't adhere if you don't brush it out daily. Also, my horse has managed to break two of the four metal rings. She is a part draft horse with a big mouth, so little deters her from eating, and she is quite rough with the bag. I have replaced these rings with twine and must check them daily to keep them intact. The bag is not really a slow feeder, since the holes are pretty large in size.

      Bag holds a nice large flake of hay. Like that my horse cannot get the hay from the top. One of the rings came off within the first few days.

      The hay bag is perfect for feeding hay outdoors in muddy and sandy conditions as well as stalls and trailers. Was looking for a solution for this. It is large enough to hold 3 flakes of hay. I bought four and am pleased.

      I bought this to take camping, worked well to keep hay off the ground, except it would be better to have smaller holes as there was hay at the base of the tree. really liked the mesh bottom so trash filtered out of hay.

      So simple to use; easy to fill, easy (and secure) to hang. Had two. Our POA managed to hop up and stick both feet into it, ripping one apart. The other (used with a reasonable and good-minded horse) is still intact and going strong after 6 months. Will be ordering another (not for the pony).

      Love these hay bags. Bought two for our youngest horses. They are well-made, so easy to fill and the horses can get to their feed without frustration. The design slows them down a little and reduces waste. A great value for the price. They seem really well made and sturdy, too.
