The Cap-Chur Rifle is a Stainless Steel Cartridge-Fired cattle dart gun that uses Cap-Chur approved .22 blank power loads to propel medicated syringes, allowing you to treat or immobilize animals safely in the field or feedlot. Power loads maintain consistent propellant force from one use to the next. The Cap-Chur Rifle is effective from 5 to 25 yards, depending on power load strength and size of syringe used. Using the patented Cap-Chur syringe, you can propel 1 to 20 cc's of vaccine or medication to an animal, causing the syringe to inject its contents on contact. After injecting, the syringe stays in place for a short time before falling out. The Cap-Chur dart gun for cattle has a stainless-steel barrel to resist the corrosive properties of some antibiotics. Comes with practice darts. Requires Cap-Chur syringes with needles, and Cap-Chur approved .22 power loads (sold separately).
Please note: When using Cap-Chur Disposable Syringes, choose the Brown power loads for appropriate level of force.
To load the Cap-Chur power load, simply depress the breaching lever, allowing access to the blank adaptor. Insert approved .22 blank power load, making sure notch and pin are aligned. Close the barrel and proceed with firing the syringe. Once complete, depress the breach lever again. Pull back on the blank adaptor and rotate, allowing the power load case to be removed.
