The Hook Doctor Calf Restrainer

The Hook Doctor allows the producer to safely and humanely restrain and control an animal's head in the chute by hooking its cheek. Use the Hook Doctor for routine procedures like tagging, mouthing, administering boluses, etc. Small leg hook at opposite end for catching calves.

  This product works as advertised. We work it from the Polaris Ranger. The large end hooks into the bed rail holes to hold the calf as we band and tag.

  The single best thing I have found to mouth cattle or work on ear tags, tattoos, etc. Also works very well to catch calves. We have several and make sure to have them handy when working the cattle.
