Bronco Gold Equine Fly Spray provides a protective hair coating against flies while imparting a high sheen to the hair when brushed out. Repels and kills stable flies, horn flies, house flies, face flies, horse flies, deer flies, mosquitoes and gnats. Bronco Gold Equine Fly Spray is oil based and acts as a grooming aid and conditions the coat. It contains 0.10% pyrethrins, 1.0% piperonyl butoxide and 7.5% butoxypolypropelene glycol.

      This keeps the flies off, when they are tough to control. One of my horses has more sensitive skin and it causes his skin to flake a little bit. But not enough to keep me from using it, because it is so effective.

      It works great keeping the bugs away and the horses don't seem to dislike it(in fact, they come running when they see the bottle) it also has a more pleasant scent than many other sprays do... some others are terrible. It's expensive.. but they all are anymore.

      I bought this product, as it was reasonably priced, and was supposed to have better protection from flies. My mare developed large welts where the coat was really moistened. (hard to control with a spay bottle) I never have had a problem with any other product before. Bottom line, it worked well for fly protection, but my mare could not tolerate it.

      Works great, oil based seems to last longer then water based.
