(Stone Manufacturing Company)  New-born animals with a feeble heart beat due to respiratory difficulties can often be saved simply by inflating their lungs. To use the Calf Saver, the rubber throat inserter is placed down calf's throat with the "V" of the rubber tube at the top of the throat. Pliable cup is held over calf's nose and mouth while operator blows into the mouthpiece at regular intervals. Non-return valve lets air and mucus exhaled by calf escape from the drain hole.
