Over the years, we have gone through many different brands/styles of fans from Wal-Mart, our local hardware stores, and the large home improvement stores. They never really provided much air movement, and did not last long in the barn. I saw this J&D 18" fan and decided it was worth trying. The fan arrived in perfect condition, thanks to the manufacturer using a heavily made box with good packing (many large/heavy items I've received from other companies are packed in light weight boxes with little to no packing, and items arrived damaged from shipping). This fan creates excellent air movement, which is MANY times stronger than any box fan, runs smoothly, and is thoughtfully designed and very well made. The three speeds are distinct, providing the right amount of breeze for the conditions. We installed the fan a few days ago, and are extremely pleased with its performance! I hope the fan's durability is as good as its initial quality. Overall, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND this fan! Is this testimonial helpful?
