      Usage & Dosage

      Pennchlor 64 Soluble Powder is intended for the treatment of bacterial infections in livestock, specifically managing bacterial infections in calves, swine, chickens, and turkeys.

      Preparation Guidelines

      Each 25.6 oz. packet will make:


      * 1,024 gallons (3,876 L) of water with 100 mg chlortetracycline HCl per gallon.
      * 512 gallons (1,938 L) of water with 200 mg chlortetracycline HCl per gallon.
      * 256 gallons (969 L) of water with 400 mg chlortetracycline HCl per gallon.
      * 102.4 gallons (387 L) of water with 1,000 mg chlortetracycline HCl per gallon.

      These concentrations are designed to cater to different therapeutic needs, depending on the severity of the infection and the livestock type.

      Directions For Use


      * Calves and Swine: Dissolve the appropriate amount of powder in the drinking water and allow the animals to consume it freely for a duration of 3 to 5 days.
      * Chickens and Turkeys: Prepare the solution according to the required concentration and provide it as the sole source of drinking water for 7 to 14 days.

      The exact concentration and treatment duration should be determined by a veterinarian, based on the specific needs of the animals and the severity of the infection.
