  We lost a calf a few weeks ago to scours. Didn't have the right electrolyte with dextrose/glucose. Now we have another calf with the runs and we're following the guidelines with this to make sure she gets two-three packs a day to keep her actively hydrated and healthy while she fights off the bug. So far, a couple days into it, she's fine. Hasn't progressed to the serious stages of dehydration. Probably will take a week or so to get her over it completely.
