StopLik Lick Deterrent Aid for Dogs and Cats

The StopLik Lick Deterrent Aid discourages your pet from licking, to promote the healing of wounds, post-surgical sites, and lick granuloma. StopLik delivers a mild electrical stimulus when licked. The tingling sensation and unpleasant taste deter pets from licking, allowing their wounds to heal. Adhesive backing allows you to apply over a bandage or to a shaved area of skin. StopLik may also be applied to keep IVs and catheters in place. Cut to size, if needed; cutting will not change effectiveness. StopLik can be fitted to dogs, cats, and other companion animals. If wrapping around a limb, allow 1" overlap to cover the small electrical cell (similar to a watch battery). Keep area dry.

In clinical trials, dogs and cats stopped licking after only a few attempts. The electrical stimulus provided is equivalent to approximately 1/200 of a small static electricity shock.
