Quiessence Magnesium & Chromium Pellet for Horses

I have been using this product for several years now for my mare who runs hot and is prone to Laminitus. This product calms her down and along with proper diet and exercise keeps the laminitus at bay. I started using Quiessence to keep my horse calm after he had his stifles injected for intermittent upward fixation of his patellas. When he no longer needed its calming effects, I took him off. I noticed his stifles sticking again. I have found no studies supporting my discovery. It has been about 5 years and keeping him on the Quiessence alleviates his locking stifles!

Using this product every day has kept my, otherwise knot-head, read headed mare sane and trainable at last.

Very spooky, unfocused, jittery horse with a tendency to be twitchy and overly sensitive to things like bugs landing on him. Noticed an improvement in all of this about 2 weeks into the loading dose. Focus is better and overall the edge has been taken off of his nerviness. He sighs and seems much happier and is more relaxed. So far so good!

We are 3weeks into this product and I have noticed no difference in my horse. She is an 11 year old Arab, spooky and high strung. Was hoping she just wouldn't be so over reactive. Will continue to use it and hope I see some results soon. It was recommended by a horse trainer friend but right now would not recommend it to anyone. However we will continue with present use.

I was looking for something to feed to loose weight, and help reduce the extra large crest in her neck. This worked. It first reduced the crest to normal size with the first purchase period. I purchased again and the second period she did lose some bulky weight. overall 4-6 weeks.

I have tried several products to improve focus and calm. Herbal, natural, and medicinal that can't be used in showing. I found Quiessence and loved it. Bought the 50lb bag and left it with barn staff. Fast forward 1 year later, my guy starts being a spaz: 2 pull backs, spooking in the stall, space cadet in the arena. Can't figure it out, about to call the trainer, when I get a message from the barn staff. "You've been out of Quiessence for a couple weeks, " thought you'd like to know. It seriously works. My guy is super picky and he loves the banana flavor. Give it a month to really come on board the system. You won't regret it.

First used Quiessence 15 years ago for a cresty necked horse with metabolic issues and on Thyroid replacement. Within 2 weeks the crest began to soften and was gone in 2 months. Horse went on to be a successful NATRC competitor. I am now using Quiessence for a mare with a high level of excitability. The Quiessence has made a big improvement in her ability to focus on what I ask and not worry about things going on around her. The improvement was noticeable after about a month. The most recent tub of Quiessence is pelletized and is an improvement over the powdered form in terms of palatability. I hope it works as outstandingly as the powder form.

I have a 28 year old mare who recently became nervous and spooky, which she NEVER was in the oast. Maybe since her sight isnt what it used to be, nor is her hearing. This product took the edge right off, she is back to being a content mare!!

This is my go-to supplement for horses that have cresty necks or general muscle soreness. My TB mare loves the taste and is much more relaxed in her back during clinics thanks to Quiessence!

I started my QH mare on this product about a month ago. she has back muscle spasms and soreness due to an old injury and poor saddle fit. Am working on the saddle fit and with an acupuncturist and heard that this product can help with muscle function so gave it a try. My mare does tend to be on the cresty side, too. So far, I have seen a difference for the better in her muscle spasms and her back seems stronger. will definitely keep her on it for now.

Trying yet another product but with this one it does seem to be working

This product was recommended for my new to me horse. He's a 10 year old warmblood with some muscle tension issues we're working on eliminating. Quiessence has helped him be far more comfortable.

I purchased Quiessence after reading the importance of magnesium for a laminitic horse. It has made a huge difference for this easy keeper (Quarter horse). He has not foundered for the last 3 years, after foundering each spring despite a grazing muzzle, just a few hours on pasture, and all the other preventative measures. It also helped with soreness in his back. I now give it to two new Quarter horses both with leg problems (high bow and navicular). It has made a remarkable difference, and both horses gleam with shiny coats and dapples galore. It is well worth the price.
