Ondansetron is used to treat nausea and vomiting in dogs, cats. It is effective for treating chemotherapy-associated nausea and vomiting; in reducing the frequency and severity of vomiting in dogs with parvoviral enteritis; and in treating nausea in healthy dogs premedicated with hydromorphone, acepromazine, and glycopyrrolate, as well as in dogs with vestibular syndrome.
