Cosequin® ASU Plus for Horses contains the same ingredients as Cosequin ASU with the addition of hyaluronic acid and green tea extract. Contains the exclusive, patented formula of TRH122® chondroitin sulfate and FCHG49® glucosamine, avocado/soybean unsaponifiables (ASU), MSM, hyaluronic acid (HA) and green tea. Avocado/soybean unsaponifiables (ASU) is a potent ingredient to protect cartilage. The superior quality and specific combination of ASU with glucosamine and chondroitin has been shown to work better than glucosamine/chondroitin supplements alone.

Hyaluronic acid is an ingredient that helps lubricate the joints. Green tea extract is an antioxidant that protects the body from the effects of free radicals. Cell culture research shows that these ingredients together inhibit many mediators that contribute to the breakdown of cartilage. New cutting edge cell culture data shows that this combination of ingredients even inhibits NF-kappaB, a mediator that helps “turn on” the other mediators and so starts the process resulting in cartilage breakdown and less joint comfort. Cosequin ASU Plus is an advanced formula providing comprehensive joint health support. 14,400 mg glucosamine, 2400 mg chondroitin sulfate, 2100 mg avocado/soybean unsaponifiables (ASU), 10,000 mg MSM, 100 mg hyaluronic acid (HA) and 30 mg green tea per 2 scoops. Give a 600-1200 lb. horse 2 scoops daily for 2-4 weeks, then 1 scoop daily.
