Ventipulmin Syrup is indicated for the management of horses affected with airway obstruction, such as occurs in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Each ml of Ventipulmin Syrup contains 72.5 mcg clenbuterol HCl. Ventipulmin Syrup is administered orally twice per day. The initial recommended dose of Ventipulmin Syrup is 0.5 ml per 100 lbs twice daily for 3 days. If no improvement, increase dosage per label instructions, up to 2.0 ml per 100 lbs twice daily. The recommended duration of treatment at effective dose is 30 days. The effect of Ventipulmin Syrup on reproduction in breeding stallions and brood mares has not been determined. Clenbuterol HCl.

      We heard about this syrup from a barrel replacing friend and wanted to try something for my 11 yr old mare who has COPD (dignost by vet school) she had been coughing up mucus when riding her. Vet told us original when first dignost ok to rider her as long as her breathing was ok. She coughs some when expanding her lungs during warm up and sometimes coughs up some mucus but this time was different she was coughing it up every time I ran her. I had her on this 1 week and she was much improved, coughing some at 7 days with some, very little mucus, but day 9 no cough no mucus. Going to complete the 30 days and hope she will remain ok for the remainder of the summer. Order the small bottle first to make sure it worked before ordering more, but the small bottle only last a week with the recommended doses in instructions. Recommend ordering the bigger bottle it should be a 30 day supply.

      This product enables me to enjoy riding my horse again! It keeps her from coughing and gagging! My vet recommended it and said that since she only requires a minimum dosage, she can stay on it long term! PS My quarter horse is 24 years old this year, and still a pleasure to ride!

      Gunner had a bad case of Heaves and the syrup helped him through the summer. I have taken him off it now. He seems to be doing well with the colder weather.
